Day 1 After all the Erasmus+ partners were finally in Madrid we all visited the UNHCR exhibition in the Forum la Caixa building. We want to thank to the responsible staff for their attention and explanations. Students and teachers visited the exhibition, watching the amazing pictures hanging throughout the building space.
The second day of the Spanish visit Integrapp+ students could participate in the logo contest for choosing the project logo. Each country showed and explained their proposed logo and then all the students voted their favourite logo for the project. And the winner is… Finland!! These are the results:
One of the programmed activities of the Integrapp+ project is the logo contest in each country partner. In Spain they have decided their winner logo yet. It will compete with the winner logos of each country to be the project logo. In the visit to Spain, students and teachers will vote for their favourite logo. But in Spain, nobody lose. The logos are being painted in the walls.
One of the programmed activities for the Spanish visit is to know more about the life and situation of refugees and immigrant people in the city of each school. In order to do that, students are working with their teachers and interviewing to refugees or immigrants, collecting data that will be helpful to sum up their situation and the difficulties they had when had to come to our countries. These days, students of all the countries involved in the Integrapp+ project are preparing the activities that will be done in the first visit. This time, finnish, italian and danish students will travel to the spanish school, the I.E.S. Cañada de la Encina school in Iniesta, Spain. The student are training and working in their free time to prepare all the products that will be shown in the different activities during the visit to Spain. Integrapp+ has just started and the students are working hard. The first activity they have done is composing the project hymn melody. The lyrics will be written by all the students participating in the project in their visit to Spain. Here are some videos of spanish students composing the melody:
Congratulations to the selected spanish students! They have passed the selection process for participating in the Integrapp+ project. So, now it’s time to work hard for preparing the first visit of the project. The project partners visit Spain from 28 Nov to 2 Dec 2018. From Spain, teachers, students, school staff and local authorities start working tomorrow.
The Integrapp+ Erasmus+ project has begun! Theses days all the partners schools are selecting their students for participating in the project visits. In the spanish one, the students have done the level and motivation exams and today it’s time for the interviews. A lot of students want to participate in the project!
